Youth Week career days have begun

Career Days Continue

Career Days, which were held within the scope of the ‘youth week’ events organized by KARGEM, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Sports Sciences at our university and with the support of İŞKUR, Kızılay, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Provincial Directorate of Health and Yeşilay from external stakeholders, also signed activities that attracted great attention on its 2nd day. Technical Sciences Vocational School Handicrafts Department, which participated in the activities as an internal partner with Kargem, also supported the activities with a stand it opened in the field of Marbling and Ceramics.

In the events where various career opportunities were introduced for students and graduates, participants had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with representatives from different sectors.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican visited the stands opened within the scope of Career Days one by one and chatted with the students. During the visits, he received information about the students’ career goals and plans for the future. Our Rector answered the students’ questions and gave them advice on career planning.

During the visit to the Organ Donation stand, our Rector touched upon the importance of organ donation, emphasized the importance of creating awareness about health and increasing social consciousness, and received information from the authorities about organ donation. At the end of the visit, our Rector filled out the form to become an organ donor, exhibiting exemplary behavior by participating in this meaningful movement.

Students who attended the Career Days, which continued in front of 1071 Malazgirt Congress and Culture Center, stated that the events were a great opportunity for them and received information about career opportunities from the representatives at the stands. Students stated that the event was beneficial in terms of career planning and provided the opportunity to follow the developments in the sector closely.
