The vision of our Handicrafts Department is to be a department that integrates with art, design and science by preserving its contemporary and original structure as well as traditionalism, and to implement and continuously improve educational programs within the framework of the responsibility of training individuals who are experts in their fields, who can integrate the professional knowledge and skills they have gained with life, and who have internalized Atatürk's Principles and Revolutions, and to be a sought-after and respected department. The Traditional Handicrafts Department aims to train individuals who research and identify handicraft products with traditional and artistic value, create new designs and aim to carry them to the future, and who can use technology together with the traditional dimension of handicrafts. Accordingly, it is to ensure that qualified professional personnel needed by the labor market in our country are trained.
