Quality Policy

The Department of Handicrafts aims to have a management model that will ensure departmental transformation, to create leadership approaches in practice, to create internal quality assurance mechanisms and to internalize the quality assurance culture in line with our goals.

Our Department of Handicrafts quality policy, mission and vision is to raise individuals who can look at the problems of our geography from a scientific, artistic and critical perspective, who are respectful of social, cultural, ethical values ​​and the environment, and who are committed to Atatürk's principles and reforms.

In all processes, as the Department of Handicrafts, we aim to be reliable with an understanding that fully meets the needs and expectations of our internal and external stakeholders,

Within the scope of the Digital Transformation Project carried out by the Council of Higher Education and in which our University was selected as a pilot university, we aim to follow technological developments closely and implement them with the workshop facilities provided to us and take them to a higher level,

Within the framework of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Regulation, we aim to continuously increase the quality level by giving importance to teamwork so that all staff, academic and support staff in the department can be more competent and use their talents at the highest level,

To establish quality awareness and create awareness in all staff and students in the department,

We aim to carry out every activity and project that the academic staff in the department wants to carry out; to provide the necessary support to be able to do it on time and with the desired quality with the support to be established within our directorate,

To determine the targets and organize the ways to achieve them in line with the outputs received from the department evaluation meetings held at certain intervals within the scope of quality,

To prevent the problems that may arise later by producing the most suitable, most accurate and most economical solutions in the activities and projects carried out,

In addition to technical education, it has aimed to be a pioneering education department in continuous cooperation with the public and private sectors, with high professional skills level personnel who have the knowledge, skills and technological developments required by the field education and are sought after in the international platform, without compromising its national values.
