Our University Hosted a Second International Art Exhibition
The International Invited Islamic Arts Exhibition opened its doors at the 1071 Congress and Culture Center within the scope of the International Symposium on Criticism Culture and Tolerance Ethics in Islamic Thought program. The Islamic Arts Exhibition, which included distinguished examples of traditional Islamic arts, featured works by forty-three artists from Turkey and abroad in the techniques of illumination, calligraphy, miniature, marbling, carpet-rug, wood burning.
The exhibition, which was opened by our Rector Prof. Dr. Fethi Ahmet Polat, was attended by the guests who came within the scope of the symposium, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullatif Tüzel, University Secretary General Harun Demir, academic artists Lecturer Selahattin Aslan, Lecturer Mikail Sevindik, Lecturer A. Kadir Öznülüer, Lecturer Erhan Karadağ, Dr. Faculty Member Şükrü Bilici, Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University Lecturer Burcu Toğrul, Lecturer Suna Topculu, Iğdır University Lecturer Elif Kırkkeseli, Governor Mahboubi from Iran, our academic and administrative staff and students attended.
