On 14/10/2024, Muş Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mehmet Arif TAŞDEMİR visited Technical Sciences Vocational School Handicrafts Department. Technical Sciences Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Fatih ŞEVGİN, Design Department Head Lecturer Serdar DİK, Handicrafts Department Head Lecturer Mikail SEVİNDİK, department instructors Lecturer Dr. Abdulkadir ÖZNÜLÜER, Lecturer Emre KOÇ and Technical Sciences Vocational School Secretary Mehmet Can DALSEÇKİN were present during the visit.
Mehmet Arif Taşdemir was shown around the Handicrafts Department workshops and ideas were exchanged. Mehmet Arif Bey, who also spoke to the first-year students of the Handicrafts Department, informed the students about the Youth Office and said that if they trained themselves well, their jobs were ready and that they were always ready to employ graduates of this department.
In the meetings held, it was decided that many things would be done together as external stakeholders within the framework of the protocol of the two institutions.
It was said that the Handicrafts Department students would be provided with internship opportunities.
He said that the Handicrafts Department graduates would be employed in the offices opened throughout Muş. He also stated that he wanted to benefit from the workshops in the Handicrafts Department.
Various seminars and events were discussed between the institutions.
It was planned to provide one-month training to the office course instructors in their fields.
It was planned to cooperate especially in tile, ceramics and casting.
