HANDICRAFTS DEPARTMENT EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDER AND ALUMNI ADVISORY BOARD COMMISSION MEETING WAS HELD
In the Spring Term of the 2025-2026 Academic Year, the "External Stakeholder and Alumni Advisory Board", consisting of internal stakeholders and external stakeholders, was formed and a meeting was held. The topics discussed at the meeting are as follows.
Evaluating and discussing the plans of the Handicrafts Department, including education and training processes, quality assurance studies, development of the quality assurance system, use of the new Quality Management System, periodic activities, internal stakeholder and external stakeholder events, as well as ensuring the participation of internal and external stakeholders in decision-making processes and evaluation of survey results.
Meeting with external and internal stakeholders and conducting surveys about the 2026 Spring semester curriculum, course distribution, exams and course schedules
Reviewing program learning outcomes and planning studies to measure course learning outcomes, Creating course evaluation surveys, Evaluation of student feedback, Survey and evaluation of course learning outcomes.
Survey and evaluation of the adequacy of the teaching methods and techniques used. Evaluation of the compatibility of measurement and evaluation practices with learning outcomes.
As a result of this evaluation, areas open to improvement are identified and the identified improvement activities are reflected in the department board decisions. Planning the monitoring of the PDCA cycle.
Announcement of course evaluation surveys to students via OBS and ensuring that students' participation in the survey is expanded.
Ensuring that open areas are identified to improve the results of course evaluation surveys and planning improvement activities in line with the survey results. Planning improvement activities in line with the department board decisions.
Implementation of stakeholder opinion survey on student admission, horizontal transfer, vertical transfer, exemption and adaptation procedures, recognition of prior learning, crediting and erasmus processes.
Conducting graduate-graduate student evaluation surveys and evaluating these surveys at the department board meeting.
Determining improvement areas and planning improvement activities, all survey studies etc. The issues were held and finalized at the department board meeting, External Stakeholder and Alumni Advisory Board meeting in order to discuss the issues in detail.
