The TBMYO Handicrafts Department Visited the Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School
Academic staff from the Handicrafts Department at Muş Alparslan University's Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO) visited the Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School. The visit, held on July 10, 2024, aimed to evaluate collaboration opportunities between the two educational institutions and to exchange ideas on joint projects as external stakeholders.
The visit was hosted by Instructor Mikail Sevindik, Head of the TBMYO Handicrafts Department; Instructor Emre Koç, Instructor of the Handicrafts Department; and Turhan Sur, Principal of Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School. Details of potential collaborations between the two institutions and the seminars and workshops to be held as part of the career days were discussed. The current status of the new curriculum for the Technical Sciences Vocational School Handicrafts Department was also evaluated. The 2024/2025 Fall Semester course schedule was evaluated. Information was provided regarding midterm and final exams scheduled for this semester. These discussions were discussed.
Following the meeting, it was decided to plan events between the Handicrafts Department and Şehit Yücel Kurtoğlu Fine Arts High School. The visit concluded with the consensus that more events should be organized to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions and contribute to the professional development of students. The visit concluded with a group photo of the participants.
