ARTEMPATI Exhibition Receives Great Interest from Art Lovers!

The “Art Empati” Contemporary Art Applications Exhibition, organized for the first time in Muş in terms of concept and content with the contributions of the students of the Handicrafts Department and the Design Department, organized in collaboration with the Muş Alparslan University Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO) and the Culture-Arts Application and Research Center, received great interest from the participants.

The opening of the exhibition, which took place in the Handicrafts Department building and included 17 works covering a wide range of themes from social events to current problems, from wars to environmental and health problems, was attended by our university administration, provincial protocol, institution directors, academic-administrative staff and students.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican emphasized that art adds a strong aperture to human existence in his opening speech and said, "As Muş Alparslan University, we attach great importance to art beyond science and technology. Art is at the forefront of the actions that engrave human existence into the universe. For this reason, we support artistic activities as a university and continue our goal of making Muş a center of culture and art."

Technical Sciences Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Fatih Şevgin expressed his gratitude to the instructors and students who contributed to the exhibition and said, "I would also like to thank our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican for the value and contributions he gives to art."
The curator of the exhibition, Lecturer Dr. Abdulkadir Öznülüer, stated that the exhibition was the first contemporary art practices exhibition organized in Muş and explained that the students produced works with contemporary art methods and materials as well as traditional art methods. He emphasized the wide and diverse forms of expression of contemporary art and expressed his satisfaction with the interest shown in the exhibition. Öznülüer said, "Today's art has the ability to express itself with any method and material without limiting itself. The works produced by our students touch on a wide range of issues from social events to the mysteries of human psychology. This exhibition has revealed the cultural and artistic potential of Muş and provided an important art platform to the region." The "Art Empati" Contemporary Art Practices Exhibition, which received full marks from visitors, has revealed the cultural and artistic potential of Muş and provided an important art platform to the region. While the "Art Empati" exhibition brought art lovers together with a successful organization, it was recorded as an important step in terms of displaying the creativity of students and making them feel the richness of contemporary art.
