"Do a Small Thing for Peace"
Artworks of artists from Turkey and abroad were exhibited in the "Do a Small Thing for Peace" biennial.
Ankara Music and Fine Arts University Faculty of Art and Design brought together different branches of art with the participation of artists from Turkey and abroad in the "Do a Small Thing for Peace: Hybrid Goodwill Performance Biennial". Designed by Faculty of Art and Design Member Prof. Ruhi Konak, the biennial was held under the auspices of Project Honorary President Rector Prof. Erhan Özden, with the execution of 180 coordinators and the participation of volunteer artists.
The exhibition, which aims to draw attention to wars in the world, create a goodwill dialogue among international participants and make a collective call for the establishment of peace, will exhibit and present different works in the fields of plastic arts, visual arts, literature, music, performing arts, auditory arts, digital art, handicrafts, architecture, design art in Ankara Music and Fine Arts University art galleries, on the website and on social media to the audience. 2,827 works were donated to the Biennial from Turkey, as well as from Mexico, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Italy and England. The exhibition was coordinated by Muş Alparslan University Technical Sciences Vocational School Handicrafts Department Head Mikail Sevindik, and thirty works by department instructors Abdulkadir Öznülüer, Emre Koç, Design Department instructors Serdar Dik, Ertuğrul Erbey and students. Participation certificates were given to participants at the end of the exhibition.
