Muş Youth and Sports Provincial Director Mehmet Arif Taşdemir visited the workshops of the Handicrafts Department and Design Department within the Muş Alparslan University Technical Sciences Vocational School (TBMYO).
TBMYO Director Dr. Lecturer Fatih Şevgin, Handicrafts Department Head Lecturer Mikail Sevindik, Design Department Head Lecturer Serdar Dik and other department instructors also attended the visit.
During the visit, Taşdemir provided information about the courses to be opened within the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the employment of the personnel who will work in these courses. Taşdemir, who examined the educational activities carried out in the fields of handicrafts and design on site, observed the works carried out in many artistic fields such as pattern, illumination, tile, ceramic, graphic design, jewelry design, photography studio, marbling, wood, sculpture and printing workshops. Taşdemir stated that these workshops play an important role in developing the creativity of young people and that such artistic activities contribute to society. He also stated that they will increase the vocational skills of young people and expand their employment opportunities.
Emphasizing that the necessary steps will be taken to evaluate cooperation opportunities and improve the quality of education during the visit, Taşdemir drew attention to the importance of cooperation between institutions.
